The OMNIKEY Plug Series is intentionally engineered to deliver a highly secure, hassle-free experience. Its cable-free design paired with plug-and-play functionality delivers convenient, multi-device compatibility and ensures users are productive anytime, from anywhere.
Compatible with smartphones, tablets and laptops, OMNIKEY Plug Series supports multiple credential technologies, as well as FIDO2 passkeys and other multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods for stronger passwordless authentication.
OMNIKEY Plug Series is available in a choice of two versions:
- OMNIKEY Plug: supports multiple credential technologies like MIFARE®, MIFARE® DESFire or FIDO2
- OMNIKEY SE Plug: adds support for HID credential technologies like Seos, iCLASS, as well as Seos mobile credentials in HID Mobile Access, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
- Comprehensive Credential and Standards Compatibility — both versions support most of the high-frequency credential standards with ISO 14443A compliance, MIFARE® Classic, MIFARE® Plus, MIFARE® Ultralight, MIFARE® DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3, HID Crescendo, FIDO2. The OMNIKEY SE Plug version also supports HID Seos and HID iCLASS
- Mobile Credential Support using Near-Field Communication (NFC) — HID Mobile Access; mobile credentials in Google Wallet, mobile credentials in Apple Wallet (OMNIKEY SE Plug version only)
- Supports CCID driver and all standard ISO 14443 A/B and ISO 15693 credentials
- Tested and certified USB Type-C, CE, RED, FCC, IC, UL, KCC, MIC, RCM, UKCA
